Rep. Jesse Young to host town halls across 26th District on Feb. 17

Rep. Jesse Young, R-Gig Harbor, will be hosting town halls throughout the 26th Legislative District on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018.

“I would like to thank the cities of Gig Harbor, Port Orchard, Bremerton and Vaughn for working with me over the past couple of weeks coordinating these events,” said Young. “I wouldn't have been able to host these great public conversations without their assistance.”

The town halls will be held at the following locations:

  • Gig Harbor– City Hall Council Chambers, 3510 Grandview Dr., from 9-11:00 a.m.
  • Port Orchard– City Hall Council Chambers, 216 Prospect, from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Bremerton – Norm Dicks Building Council Chambers, 345 6th St, from 4-6:00 p.m.
  • Vaughn – Key Peninsula Civic Center Whitmore Room, 17010 Vaughn Rd, from 7-9:00 p.m.

“I look forward to speaking directly with the people of the 26th District and answering your questions on current issues,” continued Young. “I love this type of community forum so much that I've hosted significantly more events than the majority of legislators. I strongly believe government is more efficient when citizens have a clear voice. I hope these town halls make it easy and convenient for you to participate in your government.”

At these community meetings, attendees can ask questions, and Rep. Young will offer an update on the 2018 legislative session.
