Rep. Jesse Young offers committee amendments to massive $4.5 billion tax increase proposal hoping to ease the burden on working families

On April 19, the House Finance Committee heard several bills that would increase taxes in Washington state by $4.5 billion. Rep. Jesse Young, R-Gig Harbor, offered several amendments to ease the proposed tax burden these bills would place on the hard working people of the state, especially low-income families and the most vulnerable.
